Flange Log is the combined blog and personal site of Tanya Jones, which concentrates on vintage comedy. It has been around since January 2004, and has established itself as popular site about programmes such as Colin's Sandwich.

The previous incarnation of Flange Log was really two sites in one; a blog section, and a static site with the articles on comedy. My aim was to combine the two parts of the site, to provide a more consistent user experience, as well as improving the visual look of the site. The emphasis on classic television is enforced by the images in the top-left corner, which are taken from the relevant programmes - in the classic 4:3 ratio, of course.

The site is now far more streamlined, and importantly - easy to update. New sections of the site can be created by the author herself, so the site can easily expand to her needs, rather than relying on outside support.
